General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with costochondrial calcification I am suggesting strongly that you have developed the following conditions

hypercalcemia
Pulmonary tuberculosis
Hypervitaminosis
Carcinoid tumor

In view of this please do a
serum calcium level
Serum vitamin D level
Carcinoembryonic antigen
Mantoux test

Meanwhile please see an orthopaedic specialist with the results and for further clinical assessment and expert management

I hope this helps
