What Causes Convulsions And Hematuria In A 4 Year Old?

A 4yrs old boy was here admitted with cerebral malaria with high parasitemia with continuous convulsions , hematuria,his urine output is reasonably good .He is on artesunate inj but his blood urea 160mg,sr creatinine 1.8mg .why his blood is very high.

Hi, it's very unfortunate that you are dealing with this problem. High blood urea, seizures hematuria are all complications of malaria, they will disappear as the child improves. Wishing your child good health.
