Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that change in consistency of stools and constipation during travelling and also having a dry mouth and sore gums can be due to dehydration due to lack of water intake..

Other causes can be sudden changes in dietary habits, excess intake of antacids, irritable bowel syndrome, excess intake of dairy, eating disorders, lack of appropriate physical activity, side effects of medicines, Hypothyroidism etc..

I would suggest you to take a high fibre diet and incorporate more of green leafy vegetables, fruits and salads in diet..
You can also try Psyllium husk as it is a fibre and increase the bulk of stool and relieves constipation..
You should drink plenty of water as it will improve constipation as well as ease dry mouth..
You can also take stool softeners like Docusate..
Do moderate workout and take walk after meals..
In case if still you do not find improvement in a week consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated..

For sore gums and dry mouth, you should start gargling with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine to relieve pain and soreness..
You can suck ice and do cool water rinses..
Gargle with specialized mouthwash formulated for dry mouth patients like Biotene.
Chew sugarfree chewing gums..
If not improved consult your local dentist and get evaluated.

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
