What Causes Constipation And Disturbed Sleep?

Constipation seems to be trending to nocturnal causing less sleep and requiring me to resort to using enemas or even suppositories. This is happening sometimes up to 3-4 times per week. It has been quite awhile since I had a movement without help.with less sleep am too tired to do an exercise regime. How can I reduce dependency on high degree? YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
1.     Take high fiber diet such as split peas, lentils, black beans, lima beans, baked beans, whole grains, vegetables such as artichoke, green peas, and sprouts and fruits
2.     Syrup lactulose (Syrup Duphalac) 2 teaspoonful per oral at bed time
3.     Alprazolam 0.25 mg daily per oral at bed time for 10 days
4.     Drink 4 – 5 liters of water daily
5.     Avoid straining while defecating
6.     Start workout in gym at least for half an hour for 4 – 5 days in a week regularly
7.     Drink 3 – 4 liters of water daily
8.     Chew the food properly to make it easily digestible
9.     Regularly go to toilet. Never avoid if you feel pressure
10.     Avoid excess intake tea and coffee after meal
