What Causes Constant Vomiting Sensation While Recovering From Guillain Barre Syndrome?
I was diagnosed with Guillian Barre Syndrome Marc, 2009. I have recoverd quite a bit now and have started walking again. Off late I have been feeling very uneasy with this constant sensation of vomiting. However bad the sensation I never vomit. I also don t smoke anymore because the second I take a drag I feel like vomiting. I see the flip side to this and no longer smoke...but is there any reason for concern? Also if I take mint during my smoke I no longer feel the vomiting sensation. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?
Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS) itself may cause fever, headache and vomiting in few patients is common but few patients asymptomatic. Few patients the symptoms may be due to autonomic neuropathy in GBS causes vomiting.
Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet Zofer twice a day for five days and also rule out for other possibilities.
Of symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
