What Causes Constant Tingling In Hands?

I have constant pins and needles in my hands and to a lesser degree my feet. which I have noticed for the last 2 weeks.I also have been getting periodic and localised prick sensations up my legs and arms and across my back and front and lower face. I am finding it difficult to sleep and the sensations appear to be worse in the mornings. I have no back or neck pain. I am male 52 years old non smoker and swim 1 km 4 to 5 times a week. I take 2.5mg ramapril daily for mild hypertension recently diagnosed. I have no other surgical or medical history.

Thanks for contacting healthcare magic.

Constant pin and needle like tingling sensation may be because of neuropathy.

Neuropathy is most common in diabetes so check your blood sugar level.

Any nerve compression cause tingling sensation.
MRI is helpful for further diagnosis.

Wish you a goid health.
Take care.
Thank you very much.
