What Causes Constant Sweating On The Upper Lip With Heart Flutters?

Hi, I have no health issues that I am aware of. I suffer from sweating only on the upper lip area every day all day, not a lot of sweat but enough that I can feel it and have to wipe it. On a number of occasions my heart feels like it flutters, I lose my breath and cough at the same time. This only use to happen a couple of times a year but I am finding it is becoming more frequent. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It seems like hormonal changes that are causing these symptoms (sweating and heart fluttering to you).

Now, the first thing is to rule out cardiovascular issues through EKG, echocardiogram, and Holter monitoring.

Then, we should check thyroid hormones, complete blood count to rule out anemia, blood electrolytes to rule out dehydration.

Depending on the results we can discuss further for the proper management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
