What Causes Constant Running Nostril?

Hi. I've been experiencing having one runny nostril all the time now each day for the past 2 years. At night, I breathe through one nostril. The breathing nostril will switch depending what side I'm sleeping on. I always feel tired, as if I'm not getting good enough sleep. What are your thoughts?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your evaluation should be done by an otorhinolaryngologist. Through rhinoscopy, nose examination can be done for primary work up and to check for a nasal polyp, if present. For cold, Levocetirizine can be prescribed. If needed, X-ray of PNS can be done along with CBC. According to the cause, specific treatment will be given.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
