Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pricking and burning sensation on sole of feet is seen in vitamin B 12 deficiency.
Smoothing of soles of feet with difficulty in walking needs to be examined.
Flat foot is a known entity wherein the sole is flat devoid of arches.
Flat foot makes it difficult to walk due to lack of gripping action of arches.
However, flat foot and like conditions are present since birth and do not develop later in life.
However, clinical assessment of the soles of feet and X-ray of feet is required to diagnose the condition.
I suggest you to consult your orthopedician for both pricking sensation and difficulty walking.

Thanks and take care
