What Causes Constant Pain And Stiffness In The Knuckle After Injury?

i recently hurt my knuckle on my right hand 6-7 weeks ago it still hasn t really gotten better (still deformed stiff and painful to the touch feels numb and tingly etc.) went the hospital they had me wrap it in a tensor but after not seeing a break or fracture on an xray. don t quite know what to do from here it hasn t improved much other then swelling and discoloration is gone, i think it could be nerve damage or damage to a tendon maybe not quite sure. i have mobility for the most part i can make a fist and such but it doesnt really fell right when i do it.

sometimes serious fractures are missed. Tendon damage would be shown by difficulty in movement. Joint issues by deformity at the joints. Nerve damage would be implied by electrical/pins needles/ or burning type pain. Also, there can be circulatory effects that affect the hand. Usually there would be a lot of color changes associated with loss of circulation.
