What Causes Constant Nausea And Diarrhea?

So I ve had this nausea (no vomitting) for about 2 months along with diarrhea. I am so nausea that I don t want to eat. I have been eating just small portions. We to see PCP and only lost 6 pounds since I last saw him a month ago. Eating and drinking are not pleasurable not because of pain, but I am going to pay for it with extreme nausea (no vomitting) and diarrhea. My PCP order a stool sample. what could this be?

Hi welcome to health care magic...

You can have chronic gastroenteritis infection as per history..

Stool examination will be useful in identifying exact organism...

If shows pus cells and bacteria than suitable antibiotic given for it's course

If parasitic egg detected like ameba than metronidazole given...

Avoid excess spicy and fried food

Meanwhile if acidity also present than omeprazole given for that..

Take care

If needed USG like investigation also done, if it shows growth than biopsy taken with doing endoscopy.

Hope this will help
