What Causes Constant Low Grade Fever?

Hello, I have 2 nephews who are 12 and 14years of age. The 14 year old was vaccinated for chicken pox yesterday afternoon (Friday). His 12 year old brother has been running a low grade fever on and off for the last 3 days, and just spiked a 103 degree fever tonight. Is there any chance he could contract chicken pox due to his being sick, and his brother being vaccinated?

Hello dear,welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
One can not get chicken pox from contact with a vaccinated individual.
Anyhow, fever for 3 days indicates an infection somewhere in the body, that need be treated.Kindly see your doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Take care,Thank you.
