What causes constant headaches, dizziness and tingling in hands?

Okay so here are my symptoms, feel free to ask any questions... Constant headache (ranging from a 3-9) Periodic Dizziness and bad balance (usually accompanied with a bad headache) Random Neck Pain Laying on where my neck and head meet causing headache, nausea and dizziness Random shaking of my hand/forearm (lasting for 30seconds- to 30 minutes (on and off)) Random numbness and tingling of hands and feet Random nerve thing ( great description huh?) my hand will be poked/pinched/ect and my foot or part of my face will go numb/tingly, this will happen when my foot is poked/pinched/ect Random Memory loss (hard time remembering things) Random Temporary confusion Random Difficultly finding words Random Slurred speech I ve had the headaches and dizziness for almost a year and the other symptoms have made themselves know and have been getting worst for a couple of months. Also, symptoms will be very calm, less frequent and not as intense for a week or two and them get worst for a 2 weeks or so at a time.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would explain that your symptoms could be related to a metabolic disorder or anxiety.

But, before concluding that it is just anxiety, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests:
- complete blood count for anemia
- PCR, ESR for inflammation
- a cervical spine X-ray study
- blood electrolytes
- thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction
- vitamin D and vitamin B12 plasma levels for possible deficiency.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist

I am a 52 old woman with Type II diabetes and for over a week my fingertips tingles and finges feel tight especially when I try to close my hands in a fist. The fingernails turn red when I close my hands in a fist. I also just recently moved and have lifted heavy objects, and I am not feeling any unusual strains; however just after I started laying laminate flooring (using a hammer almost daily) for over a week that is when I started noticing the tingling, swelling and tightness in my fingers. Also, I was off my Leventhroxine (thyroid meds) for about three weeks; and have been back on the meds for about ten days. Occasionally, my feet and ankles will swell; but my finger tips is constantly tingling with the tighness.

The doctor prescribed Losar 50 mg 1-0-1 in place of Amlopress 10 mg 1-0-0. But I get higher BP in the morning upto noon and lower BP in the afternoons. The BPs are in the range of 180/100 to 150/80.I get giddiness/lightheadedness, ear pain, eye pain when I started using this medicine. What is wrong with the medicine? I consulted a cardiologist. He has now prescribed Pinom H and Cinod tablets. What is your advice/recommendation?

Hi, In 2011 I was diagnosed with complete heart blockage & had a pacemaker implanted .. since then I have never regained stamina, tire very easy, at times dizziness. I have had an angiogram and an echocardiogram. There was a 30 % blockage in one artery with my angiogram. When I overdo it I get very tired I lose my colour. The only thing I can do is lay down and have a sleep. I am 61 years of age, I am overweight but losing weight as fast as I can. I take hydochlorothiazide for blood pressure. What do I need to do to get back my ability to do physical work?
