What Causes Constant Headache During Pregnancy?

I'm 17 weeks pregnant and for the past week I've had a constant headache, mainly in my forehead, and my head feels like its being squeezed at the sides. Its constant not pounding and makes me feel tired. I drink lots of water so don't think its dehydration.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
Pregnancy can cause hypertension in some females. And this kind of hypertension causes headache as first symptom.
So in my opinion, we should first rule out pregnancy induced hypertension in your case.
So first get done blood pressure monitoring.
If this is suggestive of hypertension then you will improve with antihypertensive drug.
But if blood pressure is normal then possibility of migraine like headache is more.
So avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
Avoid excessive sun exposure.
Avoid oily and spicy food. Take propranolol and flunarizine combination at night time before bed.
Avoid fasting and take your meals timely.
Don't worry, you will be alright but first rule out hypertension.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
