What Causes Constant Gas And Growling Noises In Abdomen?
I was being treated for C DIFF and was given metroindazole. Before on the anti biotics my stools were mucus and didn t even look like a normal stool it wasent even brown and I would have cramping. When taking the ani biotics it seemed to be normal but I felt really bloated and had constant gas and growling noises in my stomach. after stopping the anti biotics a few days later the mucus returned with blood....2nd round of anti biotics same thing....made the mucus, diahrea like cramps and blood go away but replaced with constipation and gas....now it may be okay after the anti biotics but my stomach is still noisy and i get these occasional wierd aches in places of stomach.....
Get stool for microscopy and culture sensitivity. Continue antibiotics if symptoms not improved then get it done a colonoscopy and get treated accordingly.
