Hi I ve been having problems with. My right side constant ear infections deafness feeling like ism underwater since having neuron virus in February every month I m getting this infection. In November I was given antibiotics back again 2weeks later still the same so I was referred to ent speacialist here in Germany as my husband is in forces. I see the speacialist and he said could be inner ear and sent me to have a scan 2weeks later I gotin a panic and asked at the hospital if they could tell me anything at that time if there was anything major wrong as I was having to wait to see the speacialist 3 weeks later , but a few days b4 the scan I got a cold and experienced awful sinus pain on the day of my scan I still had pain so the doctor exp,signed the scan showed that my right did sinus washers conjested and slightly on the left and behind my right ear was infection of the mastoid I think that s what it was and nothing to worry about. I went to uk for Christmas and had to see doctor for antibiotics as head aches sinuses ear etc was too much for me , I also had a new eye test and they proceeded to do extra tests to check for any nerve problems behind eye and pressure all was good . Then last Thursday I was out shopping and had yo go home as I felt very sick and hot and very cold still with all problems with my right side but on my left I had an ache behind my head a sort of burning in back of my head so went to bed I came back to Germany on the Friday and by lunchtime didn t feel so sick, but yesterday I woke up and started to do things was in my friends car and felt this ache at the back of head going down my neck and my left side of face very strange from my ear going along both jaw lines to centre of face a slight ache and weird sensation I did panic adapting wasin my chest later on going down my arm to my fingers in between my index finger and idle finger, when I wasin a shop talking yo a friend I was holding on to a shelf to stable me slightly then came straight home as I felt not right I called the emergency services and see emergency doctor he check my ears and neck face and said he seems to think it s all connected to my infection on the tight side and can t see anything serious so he said to inhale some menthol n hot water a few times a day take paracetamol and see my specialist on tues with his results then to go back to him on Thursday to decide what else to do. I wok dip this morning I had a good 7 hours sleep same as night b4 and felt worse the pain flown my neck in my back in my chest behind lefy breast under arm pit today I have more pain in my left side well more of a fuzzy ache I m feel so tired no apitite feel quite sick so I called the doctor and she said the same to rest and all sounds connected yo ear problem and it s traveling across flaring up all sinuses and draining Down my left side, I just feel so rotten and want yo be normal again this episode of right side ringing and muffled side of ear and head has lasted 8weeks but I can sort of cope with that it s the last few days of this left side has defeated me. I m sorry this is a long message just at my wits end ,I feel like the doctors think I m a hypochondriac but I m trying so hard to pick myself up but when I do I feel so ill please can you help me as I m so scared something bad is happening yo me and I no the doctors have said I ve had eyes and scan and nothing serious has shown but now this left side problems has made me more apprehensive thank you .
