Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards injury to nerve endings in the middle ear.

There can be many causes for nerve damage like:-
- exposure to loud sound.
- due to certain medicines like anti inflammatory.
- allergy.
- sinusitis.
The ringing sound in ear is known as 'TINITUS' and dizzinness is known as ' VERTIGO'

These symptoms usually accompanied by hearing loss .

I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order blood test , CT scan , MRI or hearing test like audiogram.

There are many treatment options doctor can opt like ACOUSTIC NEURAL STIMULATION , CHOCHLEAR IMPLANT , ANTI DEPRESSANTS OR ANTI ANXIETY DRUGS .

If there is infection of middle ear or sinusitis then doctor may prescribe antibiotics .

For now avoid loud sound , exercise for half an hour daily (light walk) , reduce intake of tea and coffee and try to keep stress level low.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
