What Causes Constant Chest Pain Along With Difficulty In Breathing?

I have continuous pain in center chest. was worse last night when I went to bed. I can t afford health insurance so I can t go to a doctor. The pain started last night and was very subtle until 1.5 hrs later. I did go to the gym and suffered through a workout and there were no performance issues so I don t suspect the heart. I m 52, 5 11 and 180 pnds. I ve had stress echo s in the past for peace of mind and the results were always excellent. It is painful to breathe in deeply.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have constant chest pain along with difficulty in breathing . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to heart related problem like angina . It can also occur due to acid reflux . Stay calmand do not exert your body. I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor may order TMT, ECG , troponin t test and complete blood profile . Doctor may prescribe isosorbid nitarte , aspirin , calcium channel blocker and sedatives . Doctor may refer you to gastroenterologist in case of acid reflux or chest specialist for chest infection .
