What causes constant body movement after being hospitalized?

My dad is hospitalized for many complications. It started off with Diabetic, then kidney failure, then 3 arteries block, and the latest is lungs and liver infection. They had to put him on aspirin equivalent product to prevent heart attack. Latest is, he s being admitted for hypoglycaemia. My question is, now he s asleep, but found it weird that he s constantly moving his body, legs, hands, while asleep.
