What Causes Consistent Pain After Retracting Prolapsed Hemorrhoids?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hello, I am suffering!My prolapsed hemmroids have finally retracted after one month but the pain is still consistant! Two weeks ago i went to the emergency and the dr. made an cut to remove a blood clot and i fear i may have an abscess of some sort! The pain is concentrated on my left side and it shots down my leg and up towards my chest... like contractions.What should I do?

Hello,

Probably you may be suffering from thrombosed hemorrhoids need surgical treatment. But there is no relation between pain radiating to upper body and Lower leg.

Pain may be due to fissure or anal sphincter spasm or thrombophlebitis of hemorrhoidal veins.

Use antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
