Hello,
The exact causes of
high blood pressure are often not clear. Your blood pressure may be strongly influenced by:
family history, eating patterns, including
stress, salty foods, alcohol intake, weight gain, lack physical activity you do.
Some medicines can also raise blood pressure.
Dizziness may be the symptom of
hypertension and low
heart rate follow hypertension because it is reflective.
If you have changed your lifestyle recently, have taken medications or have any other disease let your doctor know and he will take the right decision.
I suggest you check your blood pressure at least twice daily for at least one week to see if there is hypertension installed or was just once.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Suzana Zharri, General & Family Physician
