What Causes Concussion?

I got a concussion 3 days ago and I am still having really bad head spins especially while sleeping and rolling over in my sleep. Sometimes the room spins so fast I cannot focus on anything and loose my balance. Is this normal for a concussion? Will I get better?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Pain persists for a couple of weeks after a concussion. You can take analgesics like tramadol for symptomatic relief.

If the pain is severe, you can consult a neurosurgeon and get a repeat CT scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
