Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I live in Florida and was outside for a couple of hours this afternoon. When I came in I was sweating and took a warm shower. I got in my car and went two miles from my house to the Publix store in town and was walking through the store feeling like I was freezing. I went outside in the 89 degree weather and still thought I was freezing. I turned the heat in the car on high and after 20 minutes started feeling warm. When I got home I ate some chicken livers, first thing I had eaten all day, but the chills came back. I went to bed and turned on the electric blanket and it warmed me up. I am out f the bedroom now and still feel warm, I don t feel bad just cold. It feels like it on the inside.
Welcome to Health care magic. Thank you for posting your question.
I can understand your concern.
I went through the details of your description. I can understand that you are finding it uncomfortable because of the cold intolerance.
Check a few more things : Do you feel lethargic ? Have you gained weight in the recent past ? These are the symptoms one has if he/she has thyroid dysfunction. (Hypothyroidism)
I would suggest you to have a serum TSH ,FreeT3, FreeT4 level done and a fasting blood glucose done.
You can consult a clinician or get back to us. Don't worry. Everything will be fine.
Post any other question. We will be happy to help. Have a nice day. Regards.
