What Causes Cold Sensation In The Hands And Nose?

MY QUESTION IS THAT I HAVE A TIME OF DAY , EARLY EVENING WHEN I GET VERY COLD. My hands and nose get feeling like the temperature has dropped but the house temperature remains the same. Generally I wrap up in more clothes or blanket and it passes in about an hour. What could I attribute this too?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This change in temperature may be caused by problems in blood pressure, blood vessels, or it can be the first signs of hypothyroidism.

I recommend you to see your general physician, have some labs done and then your physician will be able to address you to the right specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Manoku Eni
