Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My lower back feels cold most of the time. I find relief with hot appliances to region. I have a cough ages & have had clear chest X Ray & tests - dr put me on steroids, Inhailers & antibiotics - course complete but am still not right... What could be the cause of this localised cold feeling in my lower back?
The causes I know of are diabetes, neuropathy, environmental conditions, neurological disease, vascular disease, etc. Speak to a doctor or if possible a neurologist or vascular specialist for further guidance.
Best wishes.
