Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 3 month old son woke up from a nap pale and with a cold face/forehead and cheeks, the rest of his body was warm and normal temperature. He vomited about 2 minutes after he woke up and it smelled very strong of stomach acid. Why would he wake up cold and then vomit?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your infant have symptoms of cold face and vomiting. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergy reaction or viral pharyngitis ,bronchitiss and asthma . Need not to worry. I would suggest you to give your child proper rest and start with antiallergic medications. You should give plenty of fluids to child to maintain hydration level of body. Apply warm compresses on his neck , try to make him warm water with a spoon of honey and try to sleep on side . If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult doctor again for proper examination and rule out other conditions .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
