What Causes Cold And Sweaty Hands And Feet?

Male, 30 yrs, 200lbs, 6feet. I have been looking over my symptoms after watching House. I know somethings aren t right with me and have been curious to find the root cause. It could be one or more problems. Here is what is going on: 1- cold hands and feet time to time 2- sweaty hands and feet time to time 3- multiple bumps in the arms, mainly right arm 4- salt-and-pepper hair since young age (~15yr) 5- feet get numb while seated, and eventually very painful when coming back 6- Vitamin D deficient (severe) 7- eyelids aren t healthy open, more half closed. 8- low metabolism 9- teeth problems (could be from vit D deficiency) 10- Possible Osteoporosis 11- Excellent libido (since younger age!!) 12- Enjoy sleep, colorful dreams, continuous deja vu situations since young age. 13- slightly low blood pressure... it is usually in the normal range but closer to the lower limit. 14- low voice/vocal level, possible testostron defficiency, higher pitch speaking tone 15-Allergy to some antibiotics (skin hives apprears) Is it Parasites? Neurological? Tumors? Genetic? Hormones? Fungui? Infection? I know the first two are associated with Hyperhidrosis but the root cause is unkown to me. The treatment of HH isn t fun.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

There are a few features to this that can be explicated by any physician. First, diagnosing what is going on.

Medication effects, hyperthyroidism, anything that might provoke a fever or overstimulation of the nervous system (diabetes, hormone imbalance) or nerves.

Treatment is easier. Strong antiperspirants will work. Botox will work; it is not very risky but much more expensive.

Dermatologists or a general internist would either be reasonable. An internist is a bit better for diagnosis. Dermatologist for treatment but either would likely be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
