hello,
i can understand your concern.
club foot or ctev is a congenital abnormality of the foot in which the foot is internally rotated .such people tend to wall on ankles.
donot worry about presence of any other mental disorders, there has been any proven genetic link to it.
almost all the cases which includes the cases i have personally seen have normal mental function.
it would need correction after birth by an orthopedecian, the sooner the better.
donot worry about the mental disorders.
you can go for a TIFFA scan which would rule out other fetal anomalies.
hope i have answered your concerns.
feel free to ask further queries.
thanks for choosing HCM.

General & Family Physician Dr. Omprakash Bodke's  Response
Hello
welcome to HCM

According to history provided, Your baby diagnosed to have club foot in pre natal ultrasound scan.

In many cases cause for clubfoot is not identifiable but to ruling out possible cause is important. some time it may be associated with some form of chromosomal deletion syndrome. Some recent evidence suggest possible association with down syndrome.

Your baby will require thorough evaluation by fetal medicine specialist. After proper evaluation only one can tell you about he/she will suffer from mental disorder or not.

Hopefully I have cleared your doubts
