What Causes Clogged Ears And Dizziness After Having Treatment For Ear Infection?

Hi doc, hope you can help. I was treated with 2 rounds of ampacillian for a bad ear infection and a bacterial throat infection (not Strepp). The throat is fine, my ears are not. They only hurt sometimes, but remain stuffy feeling, and the vertigo is still awful. Because I have active SLE Lupus they had me on a round of diminishing doses of prednesone as well. I scraped up some funds and was treated for all that by urgent care, but I don t have any insurance, so can t afford treatments that don t fix this. Why are my ears still clogged and why am I still horribly dizzy?

Hello,

Get also your ears clean by cerumen removal. Also go to ENT doctor because vertigo,BPV can be possible and he will apply EPLAY manouvre to help it go away.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
