What Causes Clear Discharge From The Rectum?

I am having a clear, oily liquid coming from my rectum. I do take fish oil twice daily. I have also had a colectomy done with 10 inches of my colon removed five years ago. It only happens when I am going to the bathroom and am passing gas while on the toilet.
