Dear user, many genetic diseases may explain liver failure, especially if cell metabolism is involved. In particular, glycogenosis, Wilson disease, etc However, I would ask in more details to those colleagues that are following your daughter about a precise clinical suspicion. The final diagnosis is in general done with whole blood test for genetic purposes or enzymatic tests if available.
