What Causes Chronic Vomiting And Flatulence?
Hello, I am 50 years old and have history of GERD, pancreatitis and variegate porphyia...gall bladder is removed. Just woke up and immediately began throwing up brownish liquid (very acidic). I have been severely bloated with unusual flatulence for several days. Water used.from the tap to rinse.my mouth out tastes extremely sweet. This has NEVER happened before although I have vomitted numerous times over my.life.

Your symptomatology is suggestive of active Peptic ulcer disease or acute on of chronic pancreatitis.
You need emergency ultrasound and Upper GI scopy. Please consult your gastroenterologist, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
