Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son has been complaining off and on about his stomach hurting for a little over a year now. We have taking him to the Drs. they have ran several test, everything came back good. About 6 weeks ago he ran a high fever and complaining of his stomach. Three weeks ago the same symptoms, yesterday he started again......I can't seem to get any answers other than he has a bug! How can the same symptoms keep coming back? I need answers on what to do....Please help.
Thank you for asking! Stomach pain with history of fever will need some other symptoms to sort out like whether any associated diarrhoea or cramps with it, vomiting or retching etc. Keep the diet soft, take some antispasmodics and get a prophylactic antibiotics of ciprofloxacin. I would suggest a deworming too. If the problem persists seeking a gastroenterologist would be wise. Till that soft diet and symptomatic treatment is advised. Take care
