My daughter is 13. She has been having chronic back pain for over a year. She had an MRI last week. It showed edema in her lower back. She did 4 months of physical therapy. Had a back X-ray too which was normal. She is severely fatigued and having chronic eye pain. She wakes up at night crying in pain about her back. She has an ortho appt this Wednesday. Her father has MS along with 4 of his 1st and 2nd cousins. Family dr mentioned Ankylosing Spondylitis. Is she at a higher risk for this because of her fathers MS? Thank you!
