What Causes Chronic Cough While Suffering From Influenza?

Wed I tested positive for type A influenza, with that I have had a really bad hurtful cough and very hard to breath the inhaler they gave me is not working and bout a hour and half ago I took the cherritussin they prescribed me (I have been taking this for two days now) but about thirty min ago my body started to feel on fire my head feels clogged and a lot of pressure and my face is red and blotchy so is the top of my back and arms is this a allergic reaction or high blood pressure... I normally have low blood pressure and I weigh 97 pounds and 28 years old

Irritation in the inner lining of air passages cause severe cough during flu. You can drink hot water. Also, you can add honey in hot water, which will reduce the irritation in the throat mucosa. Tablet Cetirizine will also reduce cough.
