What Causes Chronic Cough In Thyroid Patient?
i am 34 yrs old bmi 33. hypothyroid on eltroxin 75 mcg. borderline hypertensive on telmisartan 40 and atorvastatin 10 mg. having chronic morning cough for some time.
past h/o of extrapulmonary TB, had only pleural effusion. took att for 8 months in 2011.
tlc normal. lymphocyte raised. sgpt raised <3N, LDH mildly raised,

Hello
The chronic cough can be due to many causes including re activation of the tuberculosis or due to the hypo thyroidism also. you will need to meet your chest physician , so that he can examine you and guide you further. in the meantime you can start steam inhalation 3-4 times a day and avoid hot and spicy food!!
