What Causes Chronic Abdominal Pain With Streaks Of Blood In Stools?
Hello, I am a 18 year old female, and I have been experiencing chronic abdominal pain that has been unexplained by the E.R. twice now. I am not pregnant, and I plan on seeing a GI doctor as soon as possible. I have also been experiencing some black spots in my stool and streaks of blood on my stool. Could this be a sign of a very serious condition such as Crohns or something simple like internal hemorrhoids?

As per my surgical experience, blood in stools from hemorrhoids is not associated with chronic abdomen pain. So here the possibility of inflammatory bowel condition with gut flora
alterations are more likely.
