What Causes Choking Sensation In Throat And Vomiting After Eating?

I m having trouble with my throat. Sometimes when I am eating I get food stuck in my throat and I its hard to breathe. Sometimes I can swallow and relieve the choking feeling and sometimes I have to throw up to get my airway open again. Either way its, a concern. Any ideas on what this could be and what can be done about it?

Helloa nd thanks for writing.

I can understand your concern and would try to help you in the best possible way. Your complaints may be related to GERD or achlasia or Barret esophagus or any other causes. You may need a complete diagnostic workup.
You may need to answer a few more questions pertaining to your problems and a conplete physical evaluation. You may also require tests like barium swlllow study or endoscopy to get to a diagnosis.
Once a diagonsis is made them a managment plan may be made for you which may include dietary changes, lifestyle modifiactions, medications amd may be some interventions.
I suggest you consult a doctor who would help you with this.
