What causes chills, fever and body aches in a person with high CRP levels?

for years been having spells where they always start between 9-10am, low grade fever, teeth chattering chills, fatigue, body aches (hurts to touch ) if I take 4 ibuprofen it does not touch it..if I take 6 it goes away in a few hours. Have had blood work done. Only thing it showed once during a spell was high crp level.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

High CRP level means that you have an inflammation or an infection that should be treated.
In your case it can be related to a tooth infect so I suggest a visit to a dentist for further treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
