What causes chills along with weakness and tremors in the legs?

2 weeks ago I began experiencing the following: Chills without fever Severe weakness in legs and arms Intermittent shaking of legs and arms Complete loss of appetite Inability to focus Abrupt loss of interest in everything Personaility change Blood tests were normal

my wife has been in bed for 2 days now. it started with her in the middle of the night , shaking , freezing , curled up up in the fetal position. she went and saw a doctor and he said she has ammonia , shes only had two cups of gatorade , one of the reasons im on here is we just got some baby chickens about 4 weeks ago, its just a thought that ran thru my head. and should have the doctor prescribed something?
