What Causes Chest Tightness While Suffering From Severe Anxiety?
Av been getting tightness in my chest and about eight months ago got a stab like pain in my calf which lasted about ten 15 minutes i was out at the time and could barley walk with it my sister had dvt a few years ago was only in her late twenties at the time i am 31 and am worried in case av had dvt av been suffering from severe anxiety for six months also after stopping mirtazipine to fast av been on it six years it also causes weight gain and junk food cravings with me and greatly increases my appetite am just wondering if a dvt breaks how long does it take to reach the lungs am obese and the pain i felt in my calf av never had before or since

As per your query you have chest tightness while suffering from severe anxiety . Well there can be many reasons for symptom you mention in query But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to cardiac condition like angina or acid reflux . I would suggest you to avoid eating spicy and heavy meals specially at night , take antacid after every meal and take light walk after meal . Do not stop any medicine without consulting doctor . Consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ECG , TMT , troponin t test and complete blood profile . Doctor may prescribe aspirin , sedative , betablocters , isosorbid nitrate and may recommend angiography . Doctor may refer you to gastroenterologist if he/she find problem to be related to acid reflux .
