Hello

Chest pain in left side and tightness may be due to many causes like cardio-pulmonary causes etc.
It is always safe to exclude cardiac causes in such symptoms.
Your husband may need proper clinical examination and few investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,liver and renal function test,lipid profile,urine RE/ME,chest X-ray (PA view),ultrasound of abdomen,ECG,TMT,ECHO.
Your husband may need further test like angiography after these initial tests.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.

Get well soon.
Take Care
