What Causes Chest Pain?

For over one year I have been experiencing periodic pain in my chest immediately after I swallow any type of meat...chicken or red meat. It is very painful...kind of feels like an air bubble is in there. Yesterday I again experienced it after eating a small bite

of chicken breast. I became sick to my stomach...felt nausated...starting sweating...felt like I was going to pass out. I'm thinking I need to get this problem looked at. What type of doctor should I see?

See a Gastroenterologist. He or she will likely start with a barium x-ray of your esophagus and may proceed to doing endoscopy.
