What Causes Chest Pain With Rapid Heart Rate?

For the past 4 years I ve been getting pain in my chest with an accelerated heart beat. When the pain starts I can also feel a heaviness spread across my shoulders and through my neck. Early on, if I would sit and focus on my breathing, the pain would subside, Once it kicked in I think from the stress of moving into a new home and my mom gave me two aspirin and the pain faded relatively quickly. Now, when ever the pain and heaviness start I sit, take 2 low dose aspirin and within 5 to 10 minutes I m good to go again. I m 44 years old, yes I smoke and yes I work far more than I workout.

Hi,

It could be stress induced angina which is a heart problem and a cardiologist will help you. Don't worry. It will be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
