What Causes Chest Pain With Difficulty In Breathing?

Hello, I am 27 and I have been having chest pains, very minor chest pains in my left and right side for a few days now, they seem more noticeable to me at night or when I lay down, occasionally I also feel short of breath, and sometimes I can feel the same pain in my left and right shoulder blade area, is this something I should worry about?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The pain you described doesn't look to be from your heart. So I don't think you should worry regarding your heart. However, the pain needs a bit attention. I would advise you to just talk to your doctor. He would get an X-ray done so that we will be sure that there is nothing wrong with your lungs. If the ECG and X-ray reports are normal, then we can be very confident that this is a mechanical type of pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
