What Causes Chest Pain In A Teenager?

patient is a 15 year old female, with chest pains, went to a minute clinic and was diagnosed with growing pains, took her to her family doctor and he diagnosed her with reflux and was told to take OTC products. Still having pain especially at night or when she exercises, not sure what doctor I should take her to next. Any suggestions?

Hi welcome to health care magic...

At such a young age chest pain should not be neglected ....
Mild allergic bronchitis , juvenile asthma , cardiac cause should be searched for ...
For that investigation needed with ....
1.Blood pressure measurement
2.Spirometry if needed
3.Auscultation
4.Chest x ray if needed
5.EKG
6.Blood pressure measurement
7.CBC with absolute differential count
8.HB estimation

According to cause treatment guided ..Like for allergic infection allegra LC given....

If still cause not found than it could be simple muscular pain for which no need to take tension...
