Hello,
Thank you for your query.
Would you clarify a few things for me please?
*what is your height and weight?
*how old are you?
*do you smoke or consume alcohol?
*do you eat out often?
*how much is your caffeine intake?
*Do you have any other medical issues or take any medications?
As you have met your cardiologist and done a
stress test and it was normal, the next probable cause is
gastritis or peptic ulcers.
This commonly mimics heart trouble.
I recommend :
-home remedies
: have smaller but frequent meals
:chew food thoroughly
:avoid caffeine on empty stomach and minimize sugary, carbonated and caffeinated drinks.
:avoid, spicy and oily food
:avoid processed foods & refined grains.
:drink plenty of fresh water (if not medically contraindicated)
:avoid eating full stomach
:do not lie down for two hours after a meal
-take
pantoprazole 40 mg twice a day a half hour before meals in the morning and at bedtime. Do this for 3 days, the reduce frequency to once at night.
If it still persists, see a gastroenterologist
-an endoscopy
-stomach mucosa
biopsy if ulcers are present.
Hope this helps and you feel better.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health
