What Causes Chest Pain Along With Difficulty Breathing After A Chest Injury?

I was just at the doctor. I fell on Saturday, the 14, on my left chest . I have trouble breathing, can only sleep a certain way, and have sharp stabbing paings in my chest area. I have some bruising, but after x-Rays, my doctor said I would be fine and it was just some bruising. After waiting almost a week and still struggling with breathing, dreading coughing or sneezing, do you think I should get a second opinion or just take it slow, and hope I heal well soon?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having some injury to lungs or its pleura due to ribs injuring giving rise this problem.
This might not be detected on x ray.
Consult your doctor again and discuss this matter.
Ok and take care.
