I was sitting at work, and went to stretch really big with my hands back over my head. After doing this the middle of my chest became extremely sore (sorta like a pulled muscle). Doesn't hurt to take a deep breath in, or talk. But really hurts with any kind of movement. Should I let it go a day or so and see if it gets any better? I just took some alieve to hopefully help with the pain.
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your situation and problem. You are mostly having musculoskeletal pain due to over stretching. So no need to worry much for this. This will mostly improve with following in 1-2 days. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid bad postures in sleep. Start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs. Apply warm water pad on affected areas. If not improving with all these in 2 days than consult doctor. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
