What Causes Chest Infection Despite Taking Roxid, Zostum And Pulmocare?
I am having chest infection cough and phlegm for past seven days I am taking zostum antibiotic and pulmocure and montral tablet but no relief whenever I lie down non stop coughing I am allergic towards pensulin and sulphuric I told doctor but he had taken it seriously previously I was using only one antibiotic Roxid 150 mg whenever I get infection but doctor told its mild and asked me take as above bit no relief
* There can be multiple factors responsible for low drug response as
- associated underlying condition not detected
- antibiotic resistance
- presence of viral or fungal infection, not going to be controlled by antibiotics
- the low immune response of the host against combating the infection
- simultaneous diabetes, steroid consumption or else
- continuous smoking, exposure to atmospheric pollen or else
* Kindly revert back with the x-ray chest plate and basic lab tests results which must be carried out by your GP.
